DOMESTIC MISSIONARIES

Tim & Joan Carmichael

Tim and Joan Carmichael are missionaries serving with Ethnos360, an organization founded in 1942 as New Tribes Mission. After working in a remote location in Papua New Guinea from 2008 to 2012, Tim and Joan now serve as Representatives of Ethnos360. Their goal is to assist and encourage churches in getting involved in planting indigenous churches among unreached people groups.

Tim and Joan’s ministry involves challenging people towards Missions, and then discipling those who take up that challenge.

Ruth Davies

Ruth serves with Prison Ministries (PM) in the northern part of Illinois. In these Prison Ministries: incarcerated convicts read their Bibles far more often than the general public, and PM can’t get Bibles into the prisons fast enough to meet the increasing demand. PM has also had success Christian videos, newsletters, tracts, and little Bible booklets.

Most correctional facility chaplains receive no funding from the government for the purchase of Bibles or similar Christian material and that is why they depend so much on the gifts of private organizations like PM.

Larry & Kay Marlatt

Larry and Kay serve in Denver, Colorado under Missions Door. Our personal calling and ministry motto is “For Christ, His church, and His cause” as Missions Door missionaries. For the first 21 years we pursued this motto by reaching students for Christ at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Now we are continuing our Missions Door missionary service by seeking to provide spiritual leadership and discipleship training for urban Christians and inner-city churches. In 1989 we moved to Denver’s inner city to establish and direct Denver Urban Academy.
