at First Baptist Downers Grove
Whether you’re exploring faith, new to FBC, or ready to become more connected, there’s a next step for you. Our mission is to help people know Jesus, grow in Jesus, and go make disciples of Jesus. Explore the opportunities to know, grow, and go below and find a place to begin.
Know Jesus
Have questions about God, faith, or the meaning of life? Alpha offers a welcoming place to explore the Christian faith and have honest conversations with others.
Grow in Jesus
Join a group where you can build friendships, explore God’s Word, and encourage one another as you follow Jesus. We offer different types of Grow Groups - small groups, men's and women's Bible studies, and prayer groups.
Go Make Disciples of Jesus
Join a team where you can help others know Jesus and grow in Him. You can also go and make disciples by sharing the gospel message and loving the people God has placed in your life.
Take a Step of Faith
Believer's
Baptism
Have you decided to follow Jesus and want to learn more about believer's baptism? We’d love to talk with you about what baptism means and how to take this next step in faith.
